The Brother MFC-6550MC has a PCL 4 language simulation and has a straight media path type. It goes well with transparencies, envelopes, glossy paper, plain paper, and labels. It can entertain card or label sizes of 3 inches x 5 inches. Its scanner is a TWAIN compliant with a single-pass scan mode and 6-bit (64 gray levels). The copier has 600 dpi in both H-Resolution and V-Resolution. MFC-6550MC is a standard compliant of Plug and Play and its power is a standard compliant of EPA Energy Star, consuming 8 watts on stand-by mode. This is a good printer for a small office and as a personal partner.
